Root removal
Grinding the stump is usually enough. If you want the roots out too, just say. If a digger is needed, we're happy to work alongside one.
Difficult access
Our 27 inch grinder is about as wide as a wheelbarrow, so it'll get through most side gates.
The chippings
The chippings fill the hole. Any spare make good mulch for your borders. We don't take them away.

How much does stump grinding cost?
It depends on how big the stump is, how many there are and how easy they are to get to. Most jobs can be priced over the phone. Some are best seen in person first.
Do you remove the roots?
Grinding the stump is usually all that's needed. If you want the roots out too, we can do that. Just mention it when you get in touch.
What happens to the wood chippings?
They fill the hole left by the stump. Any extra make a good mulch that helps keep weeds down. We don't take them away.
Can you get into a small back garden?
Usually, yes. Our 27 inch grinder is about as wide as a wheelbarrow, so it'll get through most side gates.

No, only stump grinding and root removal. We can recommend qualified tree surgeons.
