Hedge stumps in Guildford
Onslow Village is known for its beech hedges. When an old hedge comes out, the whole row of stumps gets ground away, so a new hedge or a lawn can take its place. Ask and we'll take out the roots as well.
Gardens towards Merrow Downs and Pewley Down can have an old yew, like the ones along the North Downs Way. Once a yew is down, we'll grind its stump below ground, so a bed or lawn can go there.
How it works
- Send a photo. Email us a photo of the stump and how to get to it, or WhatsApp it from your phone, and tell us your town.
- Get a free quote. We can price most jobs over the phone. A few we need to see first.
- We grind it out. We grind the stump out below ground level and the chippings go back in the hole.
What we do
- Stump grinding: we grind it below ground level, so you can turf or plant over it.
- Tree root removal: grinding the stump is usually enough. If you want the roots out too, just say.
- Commercial stump grinding: for tree surgeons, landscape gardeners, developers, greenkeepers and councils.
- Difficult access: our 27 inch grinder is about as wide as a wheelbarrow, so it'll get through most side gates.
